Commissions, Dedications, Premieres and Awards
The
Erkki-Sven Tüür mass Lumen et Cantus was originally a 1981 work for
male choir and rock group. The 1989 version for male choir and symphony
orchestra is dedicated to Tõnu Kaljuste and was premiered on January
25, 1990 by the male voices of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir
and the Estonian State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste.
